Description - Liquid Ceramic

Cold setting, solvent free ceramic composite material, based on a two - component epoxy resin, reinforced with special fillers and extenders.

 Composition

Polymer/Ceramic composite
Matrix -
A modified polymer of two components with an aliphatic curing agent.
Reinforcement - A proprietary blend of aluminium oxide and extenders. This ceramic composite has an outstanding wear resistance and can easily be applied.

  Resistance

Tested at 21 oC. Samples cured for 12 day at 25 oC. Longer curing improves chemical resistance.

  • The completely cured coating VK 2000 Provides a high-gloss, non-porous finish and can easily be cleaned. It provides an outstanding mechanical abrasion resistance, wear resistance and shows superior adhesion capacities.
  • VK 2000 cures loss free and is resistant to a multitude of chemicals, oils, greases, solvents, diluted organic and inorganic acids, alkaline
    solutions and saline solutions.
  • VK 2000 reduces friction, improves flow and efficiency.
